What is the difference between using cotton and linen? I knitted up one cotton dish cloth but it has lost all of its color and is a bland putty color now. Can that be avoided? Thank you. Leslie
A cotton dishcloth will quickly lose its shape and will fade with frequent washing. A linen dishcloth will retain its shape better, might still fade, but will become softer with each washing. I like to use undyed (or natural) yarn which maintains its color.
I have a husband in school while working full time, three boys ages three and under,a new puppy to train, a bathroom to remodel and a house rental to manage. Come with me as I figure out how to balance it all and have fun at the same time.
